New Tech Pest was established in 1980. We are a family owned business dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction. We service residential, commercial and industrial accounts. We are licensed, insured and certified. We are Billerica's oldest family owned pest control company. This inspection may reveal a hidden pest problem that could save you thousands of dollars.

Mankind is not alone in living in organized communities.
The most common of the social insects, the ant, also exhibits these behaviors.
Ants do not have the power of reason.
They live in blind obedience to instinct, neither choosing nor willing to do anything.
Ants occur throughout the world.
They make their nests in many materials, including soil, sand, wood, and leaves.
There are at least 8000 species, and possibly as many as 14,000.
Carpenter ants usually live in a moist, damp wood, they do not eat the wood, they gnaw at it to expand their nests.
Fleas are tiny insects with bodies thin and flattened from side to side much as a fish is flattened.
The flea is one of the most troublesome of insects and one of the most dangerous.
This makes it easy for them to slip quickly about among the hairs of the animal upon which they live, for all fleas are parasitic.
Fleas have no wings, but their long, frog like hind legs make them wonderful jumpers.
The head has a long, sharp sucking beak that the insect uses for puncturing skin and sucking blood.
Spiders have two body regions connected by a restricted waist or pedicel.
The fused head/thorax has two jaws and two leg-like appendages, eight legs and eight or fewer eyes.
The abdomen is un-segmented and has several openings.
Spiders are predators and require prey to survive.
However, spiders frequently stray into dwellings or other indoor habitats, or may be accidentally introduced on firewood, laundry hung out to dry and on flowers.
Either a general spray or crack and crevice treatment or both may be used.
The termite is an insect with six legs and a body divided into three main constrictions, namely head, thorax and abdomen.
On the head is situated a pair of antennae made up of many head-like segments.
The thorax or chest consists of three segments, to each of which are attached a pair of legs.
And in those termites that are winged, a pair of wings is attached to each of the last two segments of the thorax.
The winged termites are also called "swarmer's" (male & female reproductives).
They usually swarm (once each year, most often in the spring).
A small scampering creature, the mouse relies on its senses of smell and hearing rather than sight to find its way around.
It uses its nose to track food and to follow scent paths.
Its hearing is particularly attuned to high tones.
The most commonly known of the mice is the house mouse.
It grows to about 8 inches long from nose to the tip of the tail.
Its naked, scaly tail is about half of its body length.
Its fur is brown or gray.
Two mice can produce up to 16,000 droppings in a six month period.
