Services
Founded in 1990, Yankee Pest Control boasts decades of professional service attributed to our team's dedication to customer satisfaction.
As a family-owned business in Boston's backyard, we live, work, and play in the same schools, restaurants, hotels, and neighborhoods as your family.
Starting from a very modest beginning in the basement of the family home, Yankee Pest Control founder and Marine Corps veteran, Galvin Murphy Sr., developed a company culture of giving back and a teamwork ethic that has grown the company into a 6,000-square-foot headquarters and training center.
Galvin is the President of Yankee Pest Control and currently sits as a Board of Director for the National Pest Management Association.
He has been involved with the pest control industry since 1985 and founded Yankee Pest Control in 1990.
He holds multiple state licenses and categories along with chairing multiple educational committees from K-9 scent detection to WDI.
His achievements in the industry are many but he is most proud of being the past president of the New England Pest Management Association (NEPMA) and being honored by the members of NEPMA as the 19th recipient of the Bart Eldridge award in 2012, given for a member's long-term commitment and betterment of the pest control industry in New England.
Seasons aren't the only things that change in New England - pests do too!
Depending on the season, your home will play host to a variety of pests, from ants and crawling insects in spring and summer, to wasps in summer into fall, and mice and rats in winter.
Attics are ideal environments for rodents, who damage property by gnawing.
Damage to electrical cables through gnawing can lead to fire.
Attics are also ideal environments for nesting birds, which can spread disease, mites, and fleas.
Like it or not, insects and pests frequently make their way into our houses.
New England's four seasons of weather bring a wide variety of seasonal pests - from ants and other crawling insects in spring and summer, to wasps, mosquitos, and ticks during summer into fall, to mice and rats seeking haven inside during the frigid winter months.
To protect homes from year- round pests, Yankee Pest Control offers a complete line of residential pest management programs.
Choose either our Healthy Homes Protection Plan, Healthy Homes and Yards Protection Plan, or Healthy Homes & Yard Premium Plan.
Bed bugs are now a common problem throughout the country - especially in Boston, named one of the country's top-25 most infested cities.
Whether you're in a low-income housing project in the city, a ranch in the country, or a multi-million-dollar home in the suburbs.everyone is susceptible to bed bugs.
The sad truth is that if you or family members travel for work, attend school or camp, go on vacation, or even just spend a night catching a movie at a local theater, you're at risk for bed bug infestation.
