Have you ever wondered what life would be like without pest control? Probably not - Here at Black's Pest Services we think about pest control all the time. We know what it takes to keep our customers safe from annoying, destructive, and disease spreading pests. We are innovative and treat each pest problem differently so that we may offer custom solutions that meet individual client needs.
Really what we offer is peace of mind, so that our customers never have to think about pest control again. We treat the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms. This in turn cuts down our use of pesticides and other invasive methods that are not always necessary. We offer custom programs for homes, businesses, and industrial settings. These include crawlspace refurbishments and effective removal and prevention for rats, mice, ants, termites, bees, spiders, and more.
After working several years as a territory manager for a national pest control company, Bernard Black decided that he was ready to start his own small pest control business.

Bed Bugs
This pest, above all others seems to cause the greatest emotional reaction in the general public.
They are repulsive to be certain, but the amount of pesticides that are used to control them is also a concern.
Our bed bug program uses a highly effective combination of physical barriers and natural biopesticides.
Bed Bugs are commonly found in beds or bed parts.
Other locations may include chairs, sofas and other furniture items with frequent human use.
Bed bugs can spread from homes to apartments, hotels, office buildings, and even public transit vehicles.

Mouse Control
Next, we place traps and bait where the offending mice frequent but where children and pets have no access.
This might include the use of live catch traps, bait stations, snap traps and bait.
After the entry points are closed and the controls are set, we set a return date, usually about a week.
During this second visit, we check our controls and adjust as necessary.
A. No, there doesn't appear to be secondary poisoning from the methods/materials we use for mouse control.
This is a subject that has been considered by the EPA.

Schools & Colleges
The safety of your students and employees is our number one priority!
Let us help you design a pest control program that exceeds state requirements and alleviates any concerns from parents or staff members.
When parents think of pest control they tend to think of pesticides.
Obviously, the public has become aware of pesticides and some of the negative impacts they can have on human health and our environment.
Similar to childhood vaccinations, pesticides are necessary to protect the safety of our population.

Other Organizations
Wouldn't it be nice to simply explain to a rat that he needs to move his home?
He could just pack up his rat suitcase and find another place that allows him easy access to food and water.
You could tell him that he doesn't need to live with you when there are so many other places available.
Like all pests, rats do not consider how they may be inconveniencing you.
Whether it be bedbugs in taxi cabs or mice nesting in a prison - If you allow shelter or access to food and water, a pest will find it.
