Here is the video of the Black widow spider from this morning (06/13/2019 Hallsville, TX). Hope she had a good last meal! The black widow spider is considered the most venomous spider in North America. The venom of the female black widow spider is 15 times as toxic as the venom of the prairie rattlesnake. Only the female black widow is dangerous to humans.

Males are about half the female's size, with smaller bodies and longer legs. Both females and males have shiny, globular abdomens and are mostly black, and sometimes brown. Females usually have a reddish hourglass shape on the underside of their abdomens. In some species the females have a series of red spots and two crosswise bars on the underbelly.

Mosquitoes undergo a life cycle called a "complete" life cycle.
This means that the female lays eggs, the eggs hatch to larvae, the larvae grow and then turn into the pupae (like a cocoon in moths), and the adult mosquito subsequently hatches from the pupa to fly off and do its daily chores.
The larva of any species of mosquito is an aquatic organism, and it must spend its time as the larva in water, where it actually serves some benefit by eating other tiny organisms in the water as a scavenger.
Many different kinds of spiders live in and around dwellings.
Some, such as the cellar spider, construct webs to help entrap their prey.
Others, like the wolf spider, are free roaming and make no webs.
Most spiders are harmless and in fact beneficial because they prey upon flies and other pests.
The majority of spiders have fangs too small or weak to puncture human skin.
Those that are capable of biting humans generally will not do so, unless they themselves are harmed or threatened.
Of the many types of spiders occurring in Texas, only the black widow and brown recluse are potentially dangerous.
Are you experiencing a bee or wasp infestation in or near your home or business?
Vespid wasps (paper wasps, yellow jackets, hornets) are the most dangerous species of stinging insects due to their painful stings which in rare cases can be fatal.
If they feel threatened, wasps will attack humans in large numbers.
Every fall, newly mated queen wasps will seek shelter in protective structures to build their nests.
This can include the exterior or interior of your home.
In the spring, the nest will grow and wasps can become a danger to humans.
