The Yuma County Pest Control District (YCPCD) was established in 1989 under Yuma County Resolution 3-17-89A. YCPCD's main focus is to uphold the Colorado Noxious Weed Act and to control the noxious weeds listed by Yuma County. YCPCD has also established a grasshopper control program. This program is a cost share program for grasshopper control on range, pasture, and grasslands.
