Extremely easy to pass them on to another person, but these bugs are travelers.
It is the reason why they have traveled to many parts of the world.
They are awake at night (early morning around 5 am), and will bite you on your arms, legs, (and anywhere) where they can feast on blood.
So how did you get them?
You might have picked them up at the movie theatre, especially hotels (always check your bedding), offices, or if you have a college-attending child, the dorm is another place where they could've picked them up.

You will typically see them during March - July, but can occur throughout the year.
They will nest in a lot of places that don't seem normal for honey bees, like sheds, tires, logs, etc.
Though quite friendly, these bees are often confused by wasps (who are the ones that are aggressive and sting).
If there are Honey bees around, do not slap or swat them, stand still and let them pass by.

We ask that you cut the yard (in order to get our chemicals deep in the soil, that could be where they are nesting), vacuum the carpets (to hatch the eggs so when we go and spray we can kill as many fleas as we can), and shampoo your pets (if you have any) with a fleas/tick removal.
