We are one of the very few companies in the United States that offers, exclusively, humane solutions to wildlife problems. We provide personalized and professional services to residential, commercial, and industrial properties throughout the greater Los Angeles region. As a member of the Humane Wildlife Control Association, we are bound to a code of ethics that ensures all animals are treated with respect and compassion.
Services
Most situations require an on-site inspection to determine the appropriate course of action for lasting results.
When conducting an inspection we take in the whole environment, looking for signs of why and how animals are intruding or causing damage.
Once completed, we provide a plan for resolving the problem permanently and humanely, with an estimate of associated costs.
Comprehensive reports are also available.
We use a variety of humane techniques to remove animals - alive - from yards and structures, depending on the species and time of year.
Legally trapped nuisance animals must be released on site or immediately killed, under state law.
All traps must be marked with a number registered with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (Title 14 CCR Section 465.5 f 1).
Anyone (including licensed trappers) proposing to set a trap within 150 yards of a home, must first acquire written consent from surrounding homeowners (Title 14 CCR Section 465.5 g 3).
Relocation is prohibited by law - you cannot transport an animal to another location - for good reasons:.
Below, are some of California's laws and regulations, and local ordinances that pertain to wildlife, with our interpretation italicized.
We've also included some examples from other states and countries.
Any person who traps furbearing mammals or nongame mammals shall obtain a trap number issued by and registered with the department.
All traps, before being put into use, shall bear only the current registered trap number or numbers of the person using, or in possession of those traps.
This number shall be stamped clearly on the trap or on a metal tag attached to the chain of the trap or to any part of the trap.
Barn owls are superior hunters, preying on small nocturnal mammals including mice, rats, voles, and gophers.
Install a nest box to encourage barn owls to your property for natural rodent control!
In the right environment, barn owls take readily to nest boxes, but, beware, there are a number of poor nest box designs on the market.
The majority of barn owl nest boxes available online are far too small and poorly designed.
If you're going to the effort to build or buy and install an owl box, make sure it's a good one.
